Ryzen 3600 B450 compatibility

Hi there

I'm helping a friend build her first gaming PC and she's looking at using a R5 3600 but I'm not entirely sure about B450 mobo compatibility. Will she have to update the BIOS or can she just drop the CPU in and have it work straight away? I'm pretty sure it would work straight away but i just want to double check before i recommend anything. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Depends what board you buy. Some are already updated, and will say so on the box or in product description.
