I hear they want us to set up rosetta what is for????

Its like folding at home, its just a different distributed compute network. It runs on the BOINC network. Its called rosetta at home, googling it will show you plenty of info :)

Hey there. Like Folding@home, Rosetta@home is a distributed computing project for protein research. However, R@H runs on the BOINC platform (UC Berkeley) and focuses on predicting protein structures, whereas F@H (Stanford Uni) runs on its own platform and models protein folding dynamics. Both are equally useful in studying proteins, and both are also contributing to COVID-19 research.

Not sure who the "they" you're referring to is, but you may or may not have heard talk of the BOINC Pentathlon 2020 (May 5 - May 19), which LinusTechTips_Team is participating in! Rosetta@home is one of the BOINC projects in the Pentathlon this year, and we're currently in overall 8th place. We could always use a little more computing power to carve out a better rank for ourselves. 😉 *wink wink, nudge nudge*
