What should I upgrade in my pc and what new part do I buy?

MP 600 is a TLC drive.........

still eats into the SLC cache, but you have fast enough TLC anyways.

they are currently cheap, and perfectly decent PSUs. (the usual offerings are out of stock)

your EVGA BV is a pretty poor powersupply.

wattage wise you have enough to play with, the powersupply is just pretty poor.

the software is if you get an SSD, tho there isnt a major reason for using it.

Ok thanks

Please help me out and donate to my go fund me to help get parts for a gaming pc. Any amount is useful. Thanks! (dm for link)

I agree, I would go with a 1tb ssd (something like the crucial p1) then partition off around 100gb to accelerate the hard drive with primocache (it is payed software but amazing). It will make your entire computer feel a lot snappier.

I wouldn't partition it. An SSD like that is more than fast enough without having to spend more money, and I highly doubt it's that noticeable with an NVME drive. If anything, just buying an even faster NVME drive instead of losing storage to a cache would be a smarter choice.

I was saying to accelerate the hard drive he has in his computer. It makes a huge difference in load times for games. I have games split between my MP600 and an Accelerated 2tb cheap HDD and notice no difference in game load times between the two.

I still don't think it's worth it. For the same price as the software you can buy a 250GB SSD, and use StoreMI, having a significantly larger cache without losing any storage from the NVME drive.

You could if StoreMi wasn’t discontinued. I wouldn’t be using primocache if there was a free to use alternative. Plus 250gb SSDs run around $55 while caching software is between $20-30.

It's not discontinued, they're replacing it in a couple months with something better.

I must be blind:

Or for a larger NVME drive than what you were proposing:

You’re getting a little hostile bud. It’s discontinued and being replaced. Until it is your only option is paid software. I was going off prices when I looked last week. It looks like there’s some pretty decent sales on SSDs right now. I actually bought that SSD you linked to use as a dedicated acceleration drive, so thank you.
