I'm building a newish PC for gaming trying to use letgo/FB marketplace, I bought the CPU for $90 and the GPU for $175 both look fairly new and we'll maintained. My question comes from reusing a 700w PSU from my old dell PC from 2014, where I'm wondering if I should risk it or just buy something that is more reliable. Also how terrible would it be if I bought a m.2 ssd from a PC repair store that seems to buy palates of used PC's. Also what fps should I expect from the CPU/GPU in fortnite on 1440x1080 assuming I have 16gb of ram. Thank you in advance.

You get around 150 fps and 200+ at 1080p. You can still use the psu it should be fine. Just but a brand new M.2

This is what I'm looking at now just wondering if the dell PSU with Chinese lettering is going to short and set my new system on fire. Also you posted 3600mhz ram, I don't think the mb I purchased runs that. The specs say around 3200 max is that correct?

The motherboard is on its way, bought it the other day after I watched an Anthony build and he recommended it. The ram... I just want it, lol, plus it's so pretty. Is it better to have two sticks of ram vs 4 or the other way around? I'll check out the ssd's and the case. I chose that case because I didn't want to buy extra rgb fans to mount on the front but I'm not sure if I even need  a 3 in 1 out setup.

better to have 2x sticks. less sticks= better stabilyt and better overclocking.

Yes for ¤ or 6 core cpus. You could run 8 core cpus with that board but it can get toasty even without overclock.

 

The p2 is much faster than that ssd you picked.

I made a mistake, the motherboard is a ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 is there still a vrm overheating problem?
