Looking for free screen recordiing software

I need a free screen recording software that takes up little specs

OBS does not work for some reason, I mean it worked before, it just stopped working after i stopped using it for a while

No its just black screen, I mean it worked before but its not working now

reinstall it, restart the PC, have you updated it? Mine didnt work until it was updated

The game capture function worked, the one for specific window, that is the only which worked

Don't BOTH AMD and Nvidia have those tools within their drivers?

 

Desktop capturing is 100% a Nvidia thing but does AMD have the same ability?

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

my laptop is basically a potato that overheats :(
