case Lenovo h420

hard drives 500gb wd blue

320gb wd blue 

80gb wd caviar ( boot drive)

the 80gb hard drive is mounted with double sided tape

FreeNAS is what i would recommend. That's not a lot of storage or memory though.

I take back the comment on the RAM...you have a total of 820GB raw storage, so 4GB might be enough honestly

I would upgrade to 8GB, even at a basic level for FreeNas. You can use XigmaNAS as well or honestly any linux distro would work.
