First Desktop Build AMD + nVidia

Hi team,

I'm currently running a laptop Lenovo Y50 purchased 6 years ago and it has served me well for mobile gaming for a while. Now I've settled and looking to build a Desktop PC.

It will be used for moderate gaming, mainly FPS & MMO Gaming and occasionally some Photoshop. I haven't built a desktop in more than 10 years and i'm looking for build adjustments and suggestions for Motherboard.

My current wish-list is:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (Or Non-X)
  • Corsair CX650M Plus Bronze
  • Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB 3200Mhz
  • Fractal Design Meshify C Case
  • Samsung 970 EVO Plus 512GB NVME + 1TB SSD 960GB Evo (From Laptop)
  • GTX ROG STRIX 2060 RTX SUPER
  • Motherboard (??)

Any adjustments to the build are welcome.

My budget for the rig only is around 1300 euro as I need to spend ~300 euro more with tax on Monitor.

Thanks in advance!

3600, no point in the x, literally

get G. SKill RIPJAWS 2x8gb 3600mhz ram, and if you cant do that at least use 3600mhz ram

Get the Phateks p300a (or p400a digital if you want rgb fans), and add another case fan as exhaust.

Get a Sabrent rocket 500gb ssd, Samsung is overpriced.

Get a rx 5700xt red devil or sapphire nitro+ if you can, otherwise just dont get the blower. Its about the same price as the 2060S with performance that rivals the 2070S

For the motherboard get the MSI b450 tomahawk max

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

Thank you for the fast and great suggestions.

I will adjust my build accordingly, one last thing about AMD 5700, I heard it has driver issued still. Any feedback if that's fixed?
