Boot LED

Go to solution Solved by Keelay,

I removed the SSD, and HDD. I even put one single stick of ram in the 2 spot.

Issue persists, red LED saying boot..

no signal to a display. (I tried on three separate monitors)

Hey everyone, I'm new around here and I'm also newer to PC building. So if I get anything incorrect feel free to inform me, I want to learn more.

Recently I just purchased all of my PC parts for my first build (listed below)

Ryzen 5 3600x

MSI X570 A Pro

Patriot Viper RGB 3200 16gb (2x8)

Samsung 970 Evo NVME SSD 250 GB

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7500 RPM

XFX RX 590 Fatboy

Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 PE 650 W 80+ Gold.

Now that I've listed the build, here's the kicker. I assembled the computer, booted up and the LEDS turned on , fans started spinning everything seemed alright.

However, the second I plugged the computer into a monitor there's no video. Now the only error I can clearly tell is the ezdebug is showing a red LED under "boot".

Honestly with me being new to this, I tried searching online for some basic troubleshooting tips..and I can't actually pin point what the issue might be.

Any kind of tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What kind of troubleshooting steps have you tried taking?
I would suggest first trying to boot without the SSD and HDD plugged in and also try booting with a single stick of RAM (in slot 2).

Oh I did forget to include that. I tried moving the RAM from 2/4 to 1/3, I've tried reseating all the power cables to the MOBO, and reseating the GPU. I'll try without the HD and SSD and report back.
