MSI Radeon RX 570 8GT OC?

I forgot they made that one, it's not as common.

Decent, as a low end card.

need some input here. Have a dell 990 mt, and about to buy a new gpu for it. Im in the great debate of a MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti low profile one, or their MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti gaming x. I can afford either one, and pretty sure can fit either one inside my case. I understand the 6 pin connector choice. but would I see any performance increase with the gaming x one, compared to the low profile one. they are both 4gb, and that's throwing me the curve ball..

Can you afford a 1650? It's better and also comes in low profile.

EDIT- i see you don't need it to be LP, in that case get the one with the bigger cooler.

Well because I have a MSI GeForce GT 1030 2gb lp gpu right now. and just looking for more "graphics power". Was kinda scared of re-investing in another low profile card. Just didn't know how much more I would see with twice as much vram.

I highly suggest you invest in a larger case, power supply, and proper graphics card. You won't be finding a cheap version of any low profile graphics card in the current gen, expect to pay over $200 for either of what you mentioned, or a 1650. That motherboard uses a standard power connector, and also is a standard form factor, so if you get a case with some wideness to it, you can get it in.

Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $62.98 @ Newegg

  Total $108.96

This case is so spacious, and the PSU is the cheapest good PSU on the market at the moment. With these, you not only get a ton of room to upgrade in the future, but also you are able to throw an RX 570/470 in, which is a significantly more powerful (and cheaper) card than what you were considering.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

okay, thanks. I was planning on upgrading the pc case at a later date. Just for looks (never really took in effect the benefit of space I would be gaining). I was already buying more ram, a new psu, and some kind of 4gb video card. I'll have to place a case in my cart also.

you should never target a specific amount of vram, unless you're an animator. Instead, check out performance numbers. You'll notice that the RX 470/570 4GB version is significantly faster than the 1050 ti.

I was just limiting my selection to 4gb due to my i5-2400 cpu.

Your CPU is compatible with graphics cards that have more Vram, like a GTX 1060 6GB, or the 8GB version of the previously mentioned 470/570

I'm digging the MSI Radeon RX 570.

Their low end Armor cards are not so great, if that's what you're looking at, but if you find a good deal on a Gaming X it's a solid card.
