How do you know that your case has bad airflow? When you open it you feel like 70 C air blow on your face?

People are talking so much now about airflow. Years ago computers was sold with one fan and nobody complain. You can buy these computers for few dollars on eBay and they're still working. Probably because convection is not just a theory.

Hey guys I have a pre build here and the case has pretty bad air flow I was wondering if I can add a fan on the bottom of the case also if it should be in take it or exhaust

You can use it as an intake. Not sure it will help much, but it would help even less as an exhaust in that place.

They also were sold with one core and 4MB of RAM and nobody complained.

You can also buy a used server and listen to it for 5 minutes max. Probably because IT people love wasting money and making noise.

Airflow plays a role in cooling; cooling plays a role in performance, reliability and longevity. How much of any of those you need depends entirely on what's inside and what's the use case, not on whether my ZX Spectrum had any fan in it.

You don't must back in time that much. Motorola 68030 which was used in turbo expansion card for Amiga, also doesn't need any fan or even radiator.

Airflow plays a role in cooling - I agree. But air doesn't need to be pushed by 4 fans and pulled out by 5 fans. It's not liquid, it's gas. Most of air exchange occurs by itself. A little "help" may be useful, but too much gives just bigger noise. If CPU, GPU and drives temperatures are ok, you don't need to punish yourself by increasing computer noise.

You can put a fan in it. I’d do intake assuming it isn’t on the floor.

Temps prolly won’t go down much. 180f ain’t much.

You also have stock CPU cooler. And huge cap from front intake fans to get to either GPU or CPU. Bottom fan mount is located in place where it doesn't really help on anything. Maybe GPU, but if that 80C is GPU temp, then you have nothing to worry about.
