Rtx 2070 overheating??

I just finish building my pc and ran a few games on it but for some reasons the temps always reach 75 pretty quick it’s a EVGA Rtx 2070 s

75 is not overheating yet, dont worry until it goes past 83

75 degrees isn't overheating, that's about average temperatures for that card.

I mean that’s with like 30mins of play I’ve already reached 82 or somewhere around there never had a gpu run so hot

What case are you using? If you don't have enough airflow than the graphics card will run hotter.

lol, my GTX 470 used to run ~88-89 on water. haha. good times. It was also overclocked 46% but I mean, still. 

 

82 is warm, but its not excessive. I assume your case airflow must be poor, or its right up against something that is heavily restricting its airflow. A 2070s should be in the 60's to low 70's while gaming. As @The_russian said, what case are you running? Is the GPU in the top most PCIe slot? Is anything beneath it? Is it a blower style of a custom fan card?
