no one knows what rdna2 will offer so you should just buy whatever you need at the moment. if you want and can wait then wait. if you can't then buy 5700xt

I suggest wait for RDNA2 IF you can wait, maybe buy a cheap temporary GPU while waiting.

RDNA2 pricing probably higher than current 5700 series so maybe buy it now if your budget is not that high.

Just make sure you don't get stuck in a loop of waiting for new tech, then waiting for third party reviews, then waiting for potential driver issue fixes, then at that point considering waiting for the next generation since it's only a few months away.

Just buy the 5700xt now and call it a day. Rdna2 will probably launch with a higher end card costing a good bit more. They need to show that they can compete with nvidia above 2070 performance, if they can accomplish that then I’m sure the pricing will go along with it.

Who knows how long it will actually take for these cards to come out. No sense in sitting here not able to use your pc. I play everyday and if my gpu broke right now I’d order a new one immediately. That waiting game is for the birds, used hardware always sells for a decent bit and amd cards tend to age well. The 5700xt is a good card, I have one and don’t plan on swapping it out anytime soon
