Issues with connecting pro switch controller over BT

Hi, this is my very first post on here but i really can't find any solutions to my problem therefore i am asking for your help. So i've recently bought a bluetooth dongle to be able to use my pro switch controller on pc to play some borderlands. For some time i have been using the controller wired to my pc but i want to get rid of the cable limiting my positions. I've bought a hama v2 0049218 usb-adapter(bluetooth v4) for that purpose. I went to pair the controller which went very smoothly and fired up steam in big picture mode. The controller worked for some time but once i closed the game the controller suddenly decided to stop responding and disconnected from my dongle(it is still paired). Afterwards i wasn't able to connect it back again. I've also tried removing the controller from paired devices and then pairing it again. The same thing happened as described above. I tried to search for a solution but didn't have any luck so i went to ask you guys for help. I hope i explained my problem in an understandable way and thank you in advance
