Currently Have:

Cpu=i5 8400

Gpu=1050 ti sc

Ram=16gb gskill 3200mhz

MB=asrock Z370m-ITX/AC

Power=Corsair CX750m

OS=windows 10 pro 64 bit(free edition)

Moniter=LG Ultrawide 25UM58-P 25" Full HD LED LCD Monitor - 21:9 - 2560 x 1080

Wanting to know if 1080 ti turbo from asus is to much to upgrade it or not. Seems worth to spend $500 on it then $400 on 2060 xc ultra gaming. Also need to know what after market cooler is best for cpu and my board. Just upgrading for more fps in gaming not much more than that. Dont really have a price point but i guess i dont really want to spend $500 on a card if i dont need to. If anyone has some suggestions it would be appreciated. Ty.

Both cards will give significant performance improvement.

In rough power, the 1080Ti will be better than the 2060, but the latter has RTX and DLSS capabilities which, considering also the resolution and refresh rate at which you are playing at the moment, in my opinion makes it more worthy.

Your CPU is locked so you don't need a stellar cooler. The stock cooler will do OK, but if you are looking to reduce temps and noise you can grab a midrange air cooler from a good brand, like the Noctua NH-U12S, be Quiet Dark Rock Slim, or something fom Arctic or Schyte.

not sure your i5 can handle a 1080ti. i'd get a second hand 1070ti for $300

But do you think i can swing a 2060? I honestly thought the 1080 ti was overkill for my moniter and setup considering 1080p is max i can do atm. But second hand parts is a risk i dont like taking. Also ty Mamonos that was very helpful for cooler and i was thinking 2060 for my current setup was a better choice for price and quality atm. Also i do have my cpu boosted to 3.9mhz is that cool for the stock cooler?

i5 8400 plus RTX 2060 is going to be absolutely fine at that resolution.
There are multiple benchmarks available across Internet and on YouTube.

Ya  I was thinking 2060 was best to be honest. Also savage i did look up that card and their price points are actually pretty even and the worry i have is with amds cards atm. Are all the issues they were having good now?

Honestly should have said this right off the bat but alls im looking to do is to get a gpu that can play all games out atm at max graphics at 1080p.

rx 5700 is better than 2060 super so you could get that.

What bugs are left?

Depends on the system and on your luck. I cant control my fans until the gpu is being used 20% or more. My friends have similar problems, and some of them not. but rx 5700 is worth to buy.

get a better processor for sure. Maybe get what i got (i5 8400) it is compatible with your chipset so u should be ok. other than that a 1050 ti should play gta 5 pretty decent. Could maybe jump up to a 1060 as well if u want it a tad better.
