Upgrade my GPU

So i want to upgrade my HD 7770 to newer one that makes most of my build and provides +60 fps high 1080p on new games.I have an Asus z68 extreme 4 gen 3

I7 2600k base clock

8gb ddr3 ram

120gb SSD

500W PSU     keep in my mind my budget is below 200$ and no personal preference (red/green-new/used)

All help is appreciated

That's an Asrock board, not Asus

 

What PSU model is that?

 

$200 could be barely enough for GTX 1660 new, for used there are 1070 and 980ti below that price point, may find a couple of 1070ti and 1080 though expect quirks, like blower coolers or user damage.

You're looking at a 1660 Ti or 590 new - also what model is the power supply?

Asrock ..my bad 

I don't know the model of PSU it is listed on the covered side and i can't open it myself but i think it's of good quality .i thought my cpu will bottleneck the 1660

Yes but cheaper cards arent as good value. Might as well get a faster card and use it for longer.

Could you use clarify more on your second quote?isn't rx 580 a good value

I'm wondering cuz my friend recommended rx 580 for me and that 1660 will force me change my mobo and cpu and as i said i want best price possible without having to upgrade

Bottleneck doesnt mean the setup wont work, you just dont get the most out of the GPU atm. All you need for the card to run at all is to have a PCIe slot, and the extra power connector(s) depending on the card

I excluded the 1660 from my choices before but if it is really going to work,i'll consider getting one on a good deal
