Looking to upgrade PC (Help!!)

kksparks

I have a gtx 1060, core i7, 16gb ram, 2tb hard drive, 6gb video memory.
I can hit 144 easily in valorant/Csgo on all low settings but in other games like call of duty war zone my pc fans are really loud and I get constant FPS spikes.

any good tips on what I should upgrade to get the most out of my system it’s only about almost 2 years old.

What generation of i7 do you have? That's pretty important information.

I am guessing 1080p 144hz?

An SSD would probably help. You also need to give us more information than simply an "i7", they've made i7's for ages.

I'd probably look into getting a better graphics card as well.

Dude that could mean a 6 core 980x, a 4 core 2600k, or an 8 core 9700kf, maybe even a 10-core 6950x we need more

i think an SSD and a speed test on your network would be in order.... check that it spikes on and offline before looking for a hardware problem....

also fans really loud could mean temps are high, thermal paste doesnt last forever (my optiplex didnt even have termal paste on the cpu when i bought it) and fans move dust, try cleaning out the PC and reapplying fresh thermal paste on the cpu cooler (i would reccomend kryonaut, not the cheapest but if any paste will do the job, it will)
