$600 your max ? Also parts should all work together fine. Personally i would want to go a little better than a 1650. Rest of the build looks fine

Okay, according to the motherboard QVL (https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B450M-HDV/index.asp#Storage) it says it should work. Search for ASU800NS38-512GT-C on the page I linked and it shows up.

Looks good to me, please make sure that the motherboard supports that drive's key type.

The drives key type? Tf

as long as it’s m.2 and the board has m.2 it will work.

I did not find your RAM in the motherboard QVL, but 99.9% of the time it does not matter for memory, especially sticks that common.

If I were you I would ditch that SSD and get a cheaper 2.5 inch one. The one you have right now uses sata anyway so it will not make a performance difference. You can then put that money towards a better GPU.

Well the prices have changed since I last looked and there is not much point to my suggestion anymore.

I was talking about something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PGC3JKQ

Your motherboard should come with one or two sata cables in the box. The sata cable is only used for the 2.5 inch one, the M.2 one you currently have in your cart uses the M.2 slot on the motherboard and does not need a cable.

Other than a USB to use for loading up windows, you've got everything you need.

Since you are getting a first generation Ryzen chip the thermal paste on the cooler may have dried out over time while in storage, so you may need to replace the pre-applied thermal paste on the cooler. This is not very common but it does happen.

In this case you would need some fresh thermal paste like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NV27PDX

Edit: Also make sure you have a monitor, keyboard, mouse and if you do not plan on using an ethernet cable you will need to get a wifi adapter.

Edited by Cole, the beast
Add monitor keyboard and mouse.

didn't notice you said steaming. you can keep the 1650S or use the budget left for a 1660, use the GPU for streaming.

The Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel, Bitwit, Jayz2cents, hardwarecanucks all have build guides on YouTube. You won't find anything for this exact configuration but the same process applies.
