Hey everybody. I just want to know if any of you know the names of all the software that Linus uses to bench-test different components. Even better, is there an offline application that I can download that runs offline so that I can compare specs for every known GPU, CPU, SSD, etc and benchmark them? Would be very helpful if I could know.

Hey there. Might want to check this thread:

Specifically: Cinebench, FurMark, and CrystalDiskMark. If I remember correctly, I think LTT used Shadow of the Tomb Raider, DOOM 2016/Eternal(?), and Counter Strike: Global Offensive for FPS benchmarks/testing as well. They might have also used 3DMark and UNIGINE Heaven in their older videos.

Part two is practically impossible. For several reasons. Easier is to google part model and add "review" in the end. Synthetic tests usually have their own database to allow user to compare their specs and scores with others.
