I need help for amp/dac comparison.

I want to compare 2 amp/dac combos and I want them to be at the same volume. However 1 is way louder than the other is there  a way to see how much is amp/dac is outputting so I can change the volume accordingly?

If you have a microphone, record the same speaker/headphones from the exact same distance and location with each amp. You can look at the audio files and see which is louder.
