Hello

I've just purchased a Super Flower Leadex Gold 850W PSU (SF-850F14MG) on ebay, have now realised that it hasn't been sent with any cables.

The seller doesn't have them, and I've read that modular cables are definitely NOT cross-compatible.

Do I have any hope, or will I just have to get a new PSU?

Thanks in advance

I would send the PSU back to the seller and demand a refund.  The thing was sold as a partial device.  Complain to eBay if needed.  No power cables is crazy.  The things are useless without them, and they very often can’t be bought.  Even if you were able to find separate cables they would likely cost more than a new PSU to begin with.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Leadex I, II, or III? It matters here. But i should be able to point you in the right direction with that information

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Unless the seller specifically mentioned he was selling the power supply only/ the power supply without the cables then ask for a refund and send the product back. The power supply was originally sold with it's own cables anyway.

If you're in UK, Overclockers seem to sell the power supply cables you need but they are aproximately 70 pounds so you're probably better off trying to return the psu and getting a new one. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/super-flower-braided-cable-kit-black-ca-051-sf.html

Leadex I.  The one with the funky 9-pin connectors.

Ask for a refund.

Those 9-pin cables are going to cost you as much as a new PSU.

Ah... I had one of those, ended up throwing it in a prebuilt that only needed the few cables i had for it.

The only feesable solution would be to make your own PSU cables, which though isnt hard takes a lot of time as you really need to make sure you get it right the first time. I found a seller in Germany that is the 12 and 18pin connectors (the ones you need for your 24 pin). But, the 9 pins are out of stock through that seller. I found another, but theyre $10 a piece. This COULD be feesable cost wise, but is a big time investment and probably not worth it unless you got an absolute STEAL on that PSU. Which, i'd hope you did if it didnt come with any cables...

EDIT: Of course you need the bullet terminals as well. I dont know what size they are.
