blue screen

Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

The dump files reference your processor cache, which is often a bad sign.

The bugcheck code referenced in those files are 124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, which often does mean it's the hardware.

Have you overclocked? If so, return it to stock because that's likely to be the cause of the error.

My brother also has an 8350, and he has had that error code a couple of times too. Perhaps there's some bad silicon going around (he's only had it a couple of times very spread out so I have ignored it).

If it's still under warranty, RMA it.

launch windows in safe mode and update ALL drivers, run virus scans from multiple different programs, and check your start up folder and see if there are any programs starting up when windows starts that are not suppose to be there. Also check your uninstall a program area, if there are any programs you dont recognize, get rid of them!

http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.htmlGuru3D - Driver Sweeper is a fast tool to remove driver leftovers from your system. It's very important to remove your drivers on a proper way, because driver leftovers can cause problems like stability and startup problems. You can use it if you want to update/remove drivers from your system.

Please use this tool. Even if you are just updating the driver it will not hurt to completely remove all traces of previous drivers before updating.

i will try that thank you

Have you check window's event log to see what is actually causing the blue screens?  The error should be displayed with the program that caused the issue,  if is a driver then you may start thinking about a hardware problem.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

Please follow the instructions in the "Read before posting" thread and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump in a compressed archive (.zip .7z etc) to a file sharing site such as dropbox or mega so that we can take a look at the dump files and identify the issue.
