I want to buy a new pc and wanted to ask if this is ok:

GPU: 1660 SUPER MSI GAMING X

CPU: RYZEN 5 3600

Mainboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B-450-F Gaming

RAM: DDR4 16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3600 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit/ or maybe 32 GB but i think thats pretty overkilled

PSU:750 Watt Corsair RMX SERIES

SSD: 1000GB Crucial P1 NVMe M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 32Gb/s 3D-NAND QLC

The cooler and case i think is not that important i have these but i am not going to list them,

the gpu and cpu are good choice!

the motherboard has vrm issues, get "msi b450 tomahawk max" instead.

ram is good too. little overpriced, but the cheapest with decent rgb.

psu is overkill. 550w will do good enough. over 600w is overkill.

get adata sx8200 pro instead, if i remeber correctly it about the same price but a lot faster. get 2tb hdd too

PSU - BeQuiet Pure Power or Straight Power (or Dark Power if you have enough money).

About ram - 32GB is not too much, is very nice to have more for things you never consider when you have "only" 16 GB. For example - 10 GB ramdisk is very useful and you still have 22 GB left. :)

Useful for what? Every time you turn the PC off it loses all of its data

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Exactly. All your temporary work (like images before conversion, temporary downloads, files that needs fast access to file like torrents, export encoded videos just for upload etc) will not stay on your hard drive. All that mess you leave every day on hard drives is gone. I work with ramdisk every day and after work I have about 2-4GB useless files there. I write on hard drive only important files, not temporary ones that I use once.
