690 Vs 7990

hey guys just wondering is it worth upgrading from a 690 to a 7990? or just get the new 7** cards when they come out ?

690 to 7790 or 7990? Anyways It's not worth it at all. The difference is probably not noticeable. You would be better off waiting for newer cards to come.

The 690 would max every games settings. You can't actually get better preformance.

$800 isn't a bad price but you would essentially have to pay an extra $200 for the 7990 but then 8 free games.

You can edit videos on the 690, it's also quite fast, upgrading to a 7990 will net you 10% performance gain at most.

Tough choice really, if you already have a 690 I don't think that upgrading to a 690 would be worth while upgrade.
