Coil Whine Related Stuttering!

Hi,

I have the below soecs

i7 9700k

gigabyte rtx 2080s gaming

8x2 GB DDR4 @3000MHZ

Seasonic Focus 650w Gold

Im having micro stutter issues when playing some games (NFS Heat, BO4, CoH2), while other games run fine (Overwatch, the division 2).

I noticed that the coil Whine coming ouy from my GPU goes away for microseconds when stuttering happens.

Tried everything, DDU, different cables, No OCing, all drivers updates, temps are fine. default bios and NCP...

I believe i have sufficient PSU.

You usually notice coil whine on GPUs when you're running a 3D application (game in your case) at a high(ish) framerate (generally), so the fact that your game stutters is the reason why the coil whine goes away for that moment.

Have you got those games installed on an SSD or mechanical hard drive? I would suggest updating your motherboard's BIOS, if by default you mean the version it shipped with.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+
