Help to finish my build

Lfc
Go to solution Solved by Guest,

I would wait for Ryzen 4000 before upgrading the cpu. The 2700X is still good.

For the motherboard it depends on how much you want to spend. There are good B450 boards like the MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX and B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.

If you wanted X570 for some reason than any Asus X570 board is fine. For Gigabyte I would look at the X570 Aorus Elite or Pro. The MSI X570 boards are not so great until you get to the X570 Unify.

I would look at a 3200MHz CL16 kit as they are usually priced better than the 3600MHz CL16 ones.

The 850W psu is way more than needed. The 650W version is more than enough.

For the SSD I would just go with a single 1TB. So as you mention editing then the Corsair MP510 would be a good choice. There is also the Adata SX8200 Pro, HP EX920/950, Sabrent Rocket, Team MP34 and Seagate Barracuda 510/Firecuda 510. There are others but that is a good selection.

You can always add a SATA SSD or Hard Drive later if you need extra storage.

CPU Ryzen 7 2700X (Upgrade soon to 7 3800X)

GPU sapphire Radeon RX5700 nitro+

Case Corsair Carbide 540 Air Black

PSU RM850x

MoB I am between Asus Prime Pro & Aorus Pro

Ssd Crucial P1 1T & Corsair MP510 240 Gigabyte (in the second the windows and programs)

RAM? What RAM can i use? I will read mobo QVL of course. The problem is i want to use this RAM with 2700X Pinnacle Ringe CPU and with upgrade later 3800X Matisse. Can I use 3600hz RAM with 2700X?

From Asus Mobo QVL I found only one RAM is compatible with Both CPU s

HyperX Predator 3200hz (8*2) 16

Asus prime pro don't have 🎩 for the second NVme. That's really problem?

I don't read Aorus Pro QVL about compatible RAM yet

Wrong! That's the right thermal. You can clearly see Asus Prime Pro and Aorus Pro in the list

Not only gaming. Editing and steaming also.

About mob I am between Aorus and  Asus Prime-Pro.

As you can see I will use 2700X for a while

I have already buy CPU. Later upgrade to 7 3800X or 9 3900X.   Depending on the price

I have already buy Sapphire nitro+ RX5700XT

Now I must find compatible RAM for QVL of Mobo with 2 CPU s pinnacle ringe 2700X and Matisse  next upgrade

If I choose Asus prime pro HyperX predator 3200hz is compatible with both from QVL Asus mob

If I choose Aorus pro don't read the QVL yet

I really stuck with Mobo choice..

In my wife like very much Aorus pro😃

In my baby 3 years old daughter like Asus prime pro😇🥰😛

Let's take things from the start.

Choose Mobo first from this 2 if will leave out ASrock steel legend.
