PC keeps crashing, blue screening

Hey guys... I’m wondering if you could help me out. I was playing csgo when all the sudden my computer crashed. After that it would turn on for 2 secs and then be stuck in a loop of turning on and off every few seconds.

 

cpu: intel i5 9600k

motherboard: Rog strix h370i -gaming

gpu: gigabyte Gtx 960

psu: Corsair cx 600m

ram: ballistix 8gig x2

 

some things I’ve tried: different gpu, unpulling and replugging it back in, and taking the ram out and cleaning them off.

That's a tricky problem to diagnose. Are you able to see an error code? Sometimes it could be an unstable overclock.

Not able to see an error code... don’t believe I was overclocking anything.....

Kind of hard to diagnose blue screens like that. One possibility is trying different ram.

It could be a driver related issue, I've had experiences in the past somewhat like that, where going to windows recovery and choosing reset this pc fix things, it essentially reinstalling windows. I'm not sure if it's a certainty, but I've had experiences where it seems like an install of windows that has been around for well over a year is more prone to issues than a more fresh install. If you use an SSD for your main drive and a second drive for everything else there's no risk of you losing your files, but it'd be a good idea to copy over anything off your main drive you don't wanna lose. One thing you can do is copy your appdata folder, cause if you do end up having to reinstall certain programs, that would help keep things where your settings, preferences, and things of that sort for programs will carry over. Me personally, whenever I'm doing something that will result in doing a reinstall of windows I always back up my Firefox profile, I've been rocking the same FF profile for well over 5 years now.

Also, another thing to look into is if there's a bios update available? that could resolve your problems.
