R9 290x Asus Crash

miguellugom97

Hi everyone.

A few days ago I bought an R9 290X DC2OC from Asus but it does not work correctly since I tried many solutions and I cannot get it to work.

When I start playing, the screen freezes. Also when I browse or I'm watching videos, lines appear on the screen like in the video.

Now uninstall the drivers and install the latest ones.
Reinstall windows 10.
I set the power setting to +50.
I put the high performance mode on windows.
I flashed the bios.
Adjust frequencies.

Force Constant voltage and Disable ULPS.
And it still doesn't work.
Someone has had a similar problem. I need help.

Attached video and images

Thanks a lot.

In first second you start the benchmark your temps jumps to 61c and crash, it may be the problem where the card is quite old now and thermal paste on it dried out and not doing the job which it was intended to do. I would start with replacing thermal paste.

I forgot to mention that I have already changed the thermal paste. And I have used two different power sources.
