Hi all, I just swap my old Nvidia GTX 950 for a brand new 1660 super ( this one in particular : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07ZGXG8GM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )

After a clean install of the driver, i've got myself an amazing -50% score in 3D Mark. Does anyone have an idea of what went wrong?

AMD Ryzen 1500

ASRock AB350 Pro 4

16 gb of ram

Try the GFX in your fav game. If you like what you see, then ignore the synthetic benchmarks

Like mentioned above the synthetic benchmarks not always goes well, most important is how the card behaves and performs when playing games.

@Whiro tag or quote will do the trick

Steam Deck OLED 512gb , all other pc’s are gone

                                          WHIRO

THE FIRST OF DEATH AND DARKNESS

He feast on the dead to inherit their power

After trying to play borderland 3, i seem to have worst performance, more hang time, worst dept of view

Try DDU ( Display Driver Uninstaller) all drivers and reinstall newest drivers from Nvidia website.

Finally, after good FPS in borderlands 3 for about 3 minutes ( when the card reached around 90C ) and having the framerate at low setting drop at 20 FPS, i reinstalled my 950. without any driver re-install, change of setting, i'm now gaming at 60 fps in borderlands 3.

I will send the card back with a 1 star review and order another one from a different brands.

Thanks Radium_Angel and Whiro for your help

Sure, good luck.

In my experience, going from nVidia to nVidia doesn't require DDU, just drop in and update drivers. Only when switching from AMD to nVidia or vice verse, can problems occur.

Let us know how it goes with a new card.
