Is GSync worth it over a freesync?

Hey guys. Im considering on buying a good 1440p display for near future. And i have good question that i cant answer myself, is Gsync ( not compatible ) worth it over a freesync monitor for nvidia gpu? Im looking over an Acer Predator XB241YU monitor right now, and its selling for like 200$ more in my country over a typical freesync tn 2k 75-144hz models. Also I heard that gsync is not cool in windowed fullscreen, is that so? Any advices would be great :)
