Cpu stuck at 800mhz

@AcerDark How do u know its stuck running at 800Mhz?

Are u sure ur checking the CPU and not the RAM?

Check in your Windows power plan that Maximum Processor State isn't below 100%.

Then it's almost definitely thermal throttling. When a CPU gets too hot, it drops down to 800MHz and stays there until it cools down enough.

I just got a ryzen 5600, b450 board on bios f60, that combo ran fine with single channel ram. then i got dual channel and for some strange reason I too am stuck at 800 mhz
