LG Monitor Problem

(I’m not tech savvy so I don’t know much but here I go.) I have had this monitor for about 1 year so it’s still good, however, when I unplugged the extender cord connected to the monitor, the screen went wonky and did this. I would love some help as I work from home and need this to work at all.
