SSD Question for new build

Im thinking about buying a 4tb m.2 to make it my main drive for windows on my pc 

 

is it possible or not?

Ive read online that windows cant be installed on anything above 2tb  so I thought about asking

4TB M.2 SSDs do exist, but they're rare and could be difficult to get your hands on. The price won't be competitive either. Are you sure you couldn't make do with a 2TB boot drive?

Possible? Totally!

practical? That depends on what you are going to do with it, but chances are for most tasks you could just get away with little to no noticeable difference  in day to day use with a 240-512GB boot drive and a 4+TB HDD, unless you are constantly dealing with large files for video editing or something.

Depends on how the disk is partitioned, make sure to use the GPT partition scheme, and not MBR.
