Using a window in Windows as monitor

I would like to know if its possible and where to begin searching on how to have a window in windows as a display for gaming. I have a single 32:9 monitor and would like to use my ps4/switch/pi on it without needing to switch to pbp as I still want quick full access to my computer. I have seen video capture cards for streaming and recording, but don't know if the latency is low enough to use it as a monitor for gaming  or if they will also act as an audio input. Any advice on where to start looking for more information on doing this or if its even a good idea.
