My internet keeps dropping every 20 ish minutes for only a few at a time but obviously gaming this break everything.
No idea what do to, It randomly started about a month ago. My Isp said. "Your connection is saturated with too many devices." complete bs because Im usually the only one connected to t he router.
Using a wired connection too.

My parents say the classic "its stormy or everyone is trying to email everyone atm because of corona".

I have no idea what to do. Its so infuriating.

Then the problem is the Router or the isp you can call the help desk of your isp and see if they can look into the problem there

I tried and they told me "you're connection is saturated with too many devices" they're a terrible ISP but no other choices in the area. My parents think its because of corna which is ridiculous because internet doesnt work like that. If it was because of the load of people it would just slow down for all users, not drop for 2 seconds.

What is your isp?? And are you able to get a faster Modem?

Svint. some Spanish company. I used to have terrible ping for 3 years, 150 in the  afternoon and then for about 6 months around 500 spikes every 30 seconds. then it was fine for 5 months when they upgraded stuff but the last 2 months ish has been this issue. Its not every day tho. Today has been bad but yesterday only once.

🤔 Well, are you sure that you are the only one connected to your router? The only way to see which devices are connected to your router is to access it in your web browser via its IP address. Your computer calls it the "default gateway" in the command prompt ( the 'IPconfig' command). Another thing you can try is doing a pathping command somewhere, perhaps to your ISP's website to see if any packets are being dropped on the way. If it gets past your router without any dropouts, you know its not on your end, but on theirs. You can call them up and tell them where packets are being dropped to make it easier for them to pinpoint the issue. If all is well, it should look like mine below. There are other applications you can use to test your connection this way as well, linked below.

🤔 Yep, this is definitely looking like a server side issue, shows that their connection quality is just shitty. And this is their own website, adding insult to injury, smoking gun proof. So next time those cunts claim its because "Your connection is saturated with too many devices", you can show them this data, and tell them exactly which hops that packets were lost at and their corresponding I.P addresses.
