How to take a frame from Bluray?!?! stupid/annoyed problem T_T

i have a bluray drive on pc but i can't take a picture like a stupid screenshot....It's ridiculous, i have try with many programs like action, msi afterburner, fraps..Only black screens. 

 

Any ideas?

are you using windows media player? 99% sure it will block out screencaps, try vlc and if that fails try http://blog.bahraniapps.com/?page_id=21 it can take a screenshot and make high quality gifs

The thing is I use windows media player in win 8.1 and I can take screencaps with fraps without any problem.

I think it is due to the HDCP protection that prevents you from taking screen shots...as others have said if you get VLC working with blu-ray you can take a screenshot with it (there is a thread somewhere where they mention how to setup vlc with bluray)

wmp can't play bluray..i'm using power dvd 13 and the capture functionality is disable with bluray
