Hey! So I got my new setup last week, it's perfect everything works flawless. I notice sometimes vibration / tapping / clicking noises coming from my pc. I think it's coming from my PSU.

But these noises are constant BUT very quiet, they don't affect my gaming in any way, the cpu and my rtx gpu is getting power just fine, and the pc works fine 24/7 no matter what game I play, ultra and low settings everything works fine. I also have a 3 year warranty on this PC which I can extend later, I am just wondering should I be worried about these noises? They are not affecting my pc or gameplay, it's just I get worried quite easily and the noise can annoy me but I wear headsets so can rarely hear it unless it's dead silent.

What do you think this is?

By the way the noise is not there all the time, sometimes it's not there, sometimes it's there for a while. For example I was playing mc this morning and it was basically not there, then I turned my pc on again later played some fortnite and rainbow then It was there, but my games and everything works fine and i couldn't hear it since I have a headset but taking it off it's a bit audible.

Is this a cause for concern? I hope not, I hope these are just normal vibrations or wires or something. What do you think?

Whatever it is I am not planning to replace my pc or send anything back, because it's not harmful, if it fails which I think is very unlikely I can just get a replacement pc which is worst case scenario, but so far it doesn't affect my pc so I hope I am good.

It could be your PSU switching from low power to high power mode. Makes a click noise. I don't know the term, but it's common.

Maybe your PSU fan turns off on low power usage. And there is some cable close to it and then it turns on when gaming it taps the cable with the fan blades.
(Just speaking out of personal experience :D)

The click noise is basically constant, this is fine right?

Does it happen when you're running programs? Kinda 'sounds' like Hard Drive noise to me

So first check if cables are touching one of the side panels when closed, aluminium panels tend amplify small noises and cables can transfer vibrations to them. If you know it's coming from the PSU and it goes away by pressure, make sure the screws are tight and the PSU sits flat on the ground or feet, unable to move.

The power supply has relais that will click but they should not be clicking. Maybe once when starting a game and when closing it. Honestly I've never had a working PC power supply that made that sound.

As @jctappel67 mentioned it could be a hard drive. Also some fans make those noises. I have 2 fans that are past their prime and they both make subtle but very annoying ticking sounds = dying fans. In my case I have recently ordered a pair of new ones. If all your components are new, finding the cause will be tricky.

If you are sure it is the power supply I would replace it, a defective power supply could do a lot of damage to your system.

They could be, but sometimes I am just on the desktop doing nothing and I can hear the noise, it doesn't affect my pc thank god I think, but sometimes it's a tiny bit annoying, either way I am not sure what it is but thanks for all your answers, I just hope its vibrations or the fan hitting wires otherwise everything else is fine and im playing rainbow right now too lol. So you think my pc should be fine?

Background programs can make it spin sometimes as well. I think your rig will be fine.

Thank you bro, I have 3 year warranty, so if there is any problems should I just ask for help or get a replacement??  It should be fine and power works fine and everything, I just need to learn to ignore it and I can't hear it while gaming anyway, so if there is any problems you think I should tell my parents, and we can get a replacement or some technical help?

If there are any other problems, the forum is a great place to start. Loads of people willing to help, but if they can't help you then an RMA could work (just remember to back up your computer first).
