GPU broke

Barvais

My GPU (Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 Gaming Windforce) suddenly blow up and the parts in the red square are fried (you can see solder blobs coming from the sides of it).

Can somebody recognize the parts it the red square?

A quick google of the part revealed nothing, is it possible to fix it or should I start looking for a new GPU?

The attached image is of a google image of the PCB.

That's the low side mosfet, AON6508. Unless you're good at soldering and can somehow buy these not in bulk (mosfets usually ship out of the factory in batches of 3000 pieces), it may not be worth the cost to get it repaired in a repair store since it's only a GTX 980 (equivalent today will be the 1650 Super)

It's an Alpha & Omega Semiconductor AON6508 N-channel, 30V power-MOSFET.

eBay is actually a pretty good source for these kinds of items. The AON6508 can be found in small batches of 5 and 10 pieces in a bag there for a couple of bucks.

I do agree on the soldering-part, though: I could handle replacing those MOSFETs, but someone who has zero experience in such definitely won't and it is unlikely to be worth it to use a professional service.

Thank you guys, I'll probably buy a new one as to try and get all the needed parts in this climate will take a long while, I'll still try and fix it whan the times are better.
