First of all I'm sorry if the wrong forum but I've never used one so plz don't be mad.

However I was wondering if some of you could tell me if I'm bottlenecking my gaming pc with a ryzen 5 2600x and a GTX1080 ti and only 8gb of rams, I'm pretty sure I need an upgrade for rams but what about the cpu ?

I know that this build isn't very balanced (I even have 550w psu, it gold but it's not enough power) but I completely didn't expect to get a gtx1080ti, I got it for a sorta of error, long story.

I've been running a 1080Ti with 1700 (not even overclocked) for a couple years now without an issue of a bottleneck.  RAM's probably going to be your first bottleneck in both capacity and potentially speed (depending on what RAM you currently have, 1 or 2 sticks, etc.)

I actually have 2x4gb rams from ballistix at 2666 but with xmp at 3200 at the moment so only capacity should be the problem right ? and wow that answer was freaking fast.

Use something like MSI Afterburner to keep an eye on your CPU, GPU and RAM usage while gaming - if any of them is peaked constantly in games, that's your bottleneck.
