Hertz difference

My monitor is AOC Gaming Q27G2WGF, with 114 Hz refresh rate. However, when I check the display settings in window or Nvidia's GeForce Experience it shows my display as being 59 Hz. What's going wrong here?

Might need to set it correctly in the monitors OSD.

Or you might just need to set it correctly in windows.

That just means you should scroll down in the Resolution window to "PC", there are the correct frequencies available.

You may need to use DisplayPort cable to get access to more than 60 Hz, up to 144 Hz.

 

Try clicking Customize... and see if you can choose there higher refresh rates.
