heat wont be a problem, i am making a open air case, so free flowing air! and i'll add some fans for good measure. ill go with whatever is cheaper, a 7970 or a 7950 or a R7 280x, although the 280x is like $60 more right now

remove hdd and start button if you run off a flash drive and jump start the pc with a screw driver

Yes but, a cx430  running at ~80% 24/7 I'd rather not.

 

Also, I think r9 270's are the most khash/ dollar but I'm not completely sure about that

You wont be able to do shit with only one GPU it will take like 6 months right now to pay it back , get like 4 other GPU's if you dont want to risk it and actualy make it back faster to be save.. IMO
