Do not use 7970

 

It is MUCH more profitable with a 7950, or a 280X in terms of Price to performance, I'll throw a rig together for you just gimmie a min

why? it was cheaper in this case and gets a better hash rate....

Wattage, and heat

 

I'm making one with a r9 270, it is seen as the best price/ performance mining card

heat wont be a problem, i am making a open air case, so free flowing air! and i'll add some fans for good measure. ill go with whatever is cheaper, a 7970 or a 7950 or a R7 280x, although the 280x is like $60 more right now

remove hdd and start button if you run off a flash drive and jump start the pc with a screw driver

*wtf, staples sells high end video cards and they sell them at the best price! woah this is totally unlike the stores like bestbuy where they will sell you a 660ti for $300 to date

an r9 280 is the same exact thing as a 7970 AFAIK

You wont be able to do shit with only one GPU it will take like 6 months right now to pay it back , get like 4 other GPU's if you dont want to risk it and actualy make it back faster to be save.. IMO

It's $6 for the start button for ease lol, and I'll remove the hdd
