I cant get my hands on rubbing alcohol so as to clean the old thermal paste. What else can I use?? The shops are all closed due to this corona shit

Just a slightly damp paper towel will do, it won't deep clean but will get it clean enough for reapplication.

vinegar works great, it is also a desinfectant.

vinegar or even a cloth works, doesnt need to be fancy

Everyone thank you for your suggestions. Recently my dad went to buy some disinfectants from the local medical store and also brought the 70% rubbing alcohol.

But, again thank you all, these suggestions would be useful if I ever get in this situation again
