How good is the RTX 2070 now?

kriptcs

Hey guys! It's been a while since I caught up to tech, and I have been wondering..I have a Gigabyte RTX 2070 that I bought like..2 years ago, and I am running 2019 games (NFS) and it seems perform  poorly (120 FPS on Low settings). I have a Ryzen 9 3900x if it is any relevant. Is RTX 2070 still a solid card or is it worth upgrading?

Maybe it's a driver problem? Because that card is pretty decent I think.

In Latvia it's about 370 eur.

Why do you run on low settings? You are probably CPU bottlenecked here even if it's a 3900X.

It's still more than a capable card.

To get better fps..I would get 80 on high settings. Also, how can I get bottlenecked by one of the best processors in amd's lineup as of right now? What is there to do about it?

You almost certainly have a software issue. DDU the drivers and update all drivers/firmware - make sure no power saving features are enabled.

how can you be bottlenecked? because over the last month or so, AMD has been having issues with their drivers not syncing correctly to components from different companies. I would say uninstall and then reinstall all the drivers as see what that does. but that is just my guess at your problem.
