I am building a computer for a friend and made a computer on PC Part Picker and the Compatibility Check said that the computer was compatible but I am asking for confirmation such as Clearances. I would also like to know if all of the components would be suitable for gaming and if any of the components would be a bottleneck.

I mean, if he's just doing some gaming, nothing like 240hz comp eSports, a Ryzen 7 3700X would be a better choice. More threads now = better performance tomorrow. We've seen this over and over again, with the i5 7600K vs R5 1600, i5 9400F vs R5 2600, so on and so on.

 

The RX 5700XT is probably the best value this generation. I'd probably get one now, sell it on eBay or something and spend that and the money you save here to a better card upon next gen release.

 

Get Windows off eBay. The licenses there are $2 and work just fine.
