I want to build my first gaming pc and need help with the parts. I tried to make a list on pcpartpicker but i'm a newbie. I would appreciate it if someone could see if my list is compatible and the parts you would choose differently with reason.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

If you want people to help you pick your system, it helps to provide as much information as possible. This means your location (country, nobody needs your exact home address), budget and most importantly what you plan to do with the system. Is it purely for gaming, if so which games, if not what else?

As far as you list is considered, as far as I can see there shouldn't be any incompatibility issues.

Thanks, I live in the Netherlands and I am mainly planning to game and stream on the side a little. I have a 2500 euro budget but it's ok to overshoot that budget by a couple hundred euro's. I play games like fortnite, modern warfare, apex legends, etc.

If it was Me I would do something like this, and save a bit of money for a gpu upgrade later on. The Nvidia 3000 Series are probably being released Q4 2020 so it might affect current prices. And of course AMD are rumoured to be releasing a high end Navi gpu to take on Nvidia.

Also why not get a 1440p monitor if you are considering changing your current screen ? The Asus one below is 165Hz IPS Freesync but works fine with Nvidia gpu's. A 240Hz is a bit of a pointless upgrade unless you play competitively.

Thanks for the build but if the new gen gpu's are launching in a few months then I think it's worth waiting.

I also chose for a 240 hz monitor because i do also plan to play competitively in tournaments.
