What are the specs of the Server?

Are you into building websites? How about selling Web-Hosting?

You can install Centos x64 on the server, then install cPanel/WHM and start selling Web-Hosting to people. Of if you just want to build a few websites for yourself, there are some free control panels out there. There is also a control panel for Windows called "Ekompass", its made by the people that made cPanel.

I have 2 server boxes in my house, one box is setup with a bunch of VPS's (virtual private server), that I sell to clients. The other box is setup as a stand alone dedicated server for my own Websites. I will be building another box soon, that one will be a massive storage server, for personal use, and for all website backups.

Tell us some more specs... There have been loads of xeons, and if you have two half decant ones then you might be able to produce a pretty mean rig, as opposed to low spec stuff like routers. Also another thing to consider is pore consumption with two xeons on all the time as a router/nas, compared with an actual router or one made with a more low voltage chip...

Haha don't mean to be pessimistic lol, I'll keep thinking of ideas

How is your ip static? Even then how do you have the bandwidth to do that.

I have a dedicated IP for my servers. they are also running on their own internet connection. I have 2 internet connections in my house, one for me and the family, and one for my servers. I got a static ip through my ISP for my servers. My servers are also running through Fiber.

When I build the Storage Server, it won't be connected to the internet, it will only be allowed to connect to the local network with the other servers. So the only way to connect to the storage server, is through one of the servers that its connected to.  However, thats just one way that I could set it up, im not 100% sure how i am going to have it set up though.
