MOBO/RAM Upgrade?

When I built this pc, I new close to nothing about picking parts. Knowing better now, I know my motherboard kinda sucks and Ryzen CPUs prefer faster RAM such as 3600MHz. Would upgrading either of these components in my pc provide any real improvement in performance? I am pretty sure upgrading the motherboard wouldn't do much besides possibly lowering thermals and allowing better overclocking, but thermals aren't an issue and I have no experience with overclocking and I am still curious to

Gonna be honest here both of these upgrades are a HUGE waste of money. Yeah the MSI X570-A Pro isn't the "best" X570 board, but it's not terrible and for an R5 3600 it will make no difference. The biggest improvement with "better" boards is the VRM cooling, but you have a 65W TDP CPU, the changes would be negligible for your CPU, even if you had an R7 3700x I would say the same thing.

Yes, Ryzen loves fast dual channel RAM, but you are better off spending the time OC'ing your RAM and tightening up timings, this will boost performance the most.

IF you have a burning hole in your pocket and are set on upgrading RAM don't get a quad channel kit, get dual channel, 3600MHz, Cl16 or better.

If you want 4x filled dimms for the RGB goodness get a Corsair kit and get a kit of RGB modules.

If I were you I wouldn't spend a dime, and if you want a real performance boost just get an R7/R9.

My current specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

CPU Cooler: NZXT X72 Kraken

MOBO: MSI X570-A PRO

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB OC

RAM: 32GB(4x8GB) G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3200MHz CL16

Storage: 2TB Samsung 660p M.2 NVMe SSD and 2TB Seagate Barracuda 3.5" HDD

PSU: Corsair RMx 850W

Case: NZXT H710i
