Depends on what kind of games you play.  Some games have a lot of loading, others don't. In some games you need to wait for other opponents to load the map too, so in that case a fast drive wouldn't matter.

Singleplayer games with a ton of loading (e.g. Skyrim) will have be better to play on an SSD, multiplayer games with maps that aren't too large (like CSGO) matter less.
