Hey can anyone recommend a good and cheap (about 50€ or more if its worth it) cooling solution?

At the moment im going with the amd stock cooler and the CPU (Ryzen 5 2600 Stock) is the hottest part in my build with about 81°c vs. 58°c for the OC-GPU under load after 2 Hours.

I want a nice black finish so it fits with the rest of my build and was looking for some be quiet fans or maybe an AIO solution but im not very familiar with this subject.

i would be very gratefull if anyone could help me

Those temps are fine. Are you otherwise not satisfied with the stock cooler?

What case and ram are you using?

@WoodenMarker i only thought it could be better because the GPU is only at 58 (sometimes up to 70 but only in exceptions) and all other parts are chilling at 30-40. also if possible i want a slightly quieter cooler because its also the loudest part in my build. even if i play games with 70-100% GPU and "only" 50% CPU the only thing i notice is the CPU.

Maybe an all in one watercooler can handle this better?

Liquid cooling isn't necessary but a better cooler is a good idea for lowering noise.

Good options include:

Freezer 34 eSports Duo: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/PnPKHx/arctic-freezer-34-esports-duo-cpu-cooler-acfre00061a

Ninja 5: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/dZ3H99/scythe-ninja-5-430-cfm-cpu-cooler-scnj-5000

If the graphics card you're using is the Asus Strix 1660 Ti listed on your profile, it's no wonder the gpu is running much cooler. It's a beefy cooler on a gpu that isn't very difficult to cool.

PSA: the Arctic Freezer 34 e-sports CPU Cooler is not 100% compatible with all AM4 socket motherboards.  The B450 Tomahawk Max is one of those incompatible motherboards.  There is a new backplate you can get for free from Arctic that resolves the issue.   I know because I just had the issue but couldn't get Arctic to send me a new backplate, so I returned the CPU Cooler.   I am now in the market myself for another CPU cooler.

I would advise checking the compatibility on the arctic web-site but there is no information there about compatibility.   So hopefully you have an out of the box compatible AM4 motherboard.

@WoodenMarker jup thats my gpu. i know that it is a big cooler but it would be great if the cpu is about the same temperature if it is possible.

@PyroTheWise good to know thanks.

the best thing for me would be a quiet and better solution. because the stock cooler is getting loud under noise (pc is on the table)

I am not trying to scare anyone from using the Arctic CPU cooler.  I was really nice, but I couldn't use it and thankfully the stock Ryzen CPU cooler works otherwise I would have been stuck waiting for a new backplate from Arctic.

I am thinking about re-purchasing the Arctic CPU cooler and calling to get the new backplate sent or just ordering a different CPU cooler.   The wraith cpu cooler works but isn't exactly quiet...

@PyroTheWise don't worry you are not stopping me from buying it. its just something ill keep in mind while i am looking for one :)

That is good.  I am really looking at the newish Noctua NU-12s chromax.black or the be quiet dark rock 4 slim as the replacement.  The Noctua is leading right now because the mounting system looks so nice compared to the Arctic/Be Quiet solutions.   The Noctua and Be Quiet web-sites do have motherboard compatibility lookups.

I really haven't decided what I am going to do though and would be interested to know which cooler you picked and how well it worked out.

@PyroTheWise the be quiet one is the best so far in my opinion (at least he looks the best in my build).

i think the dark rock 4 (pro or normal) would make the race in my build :)

i dont know if the pro is worth the extra money

i will go to buy it maybe this or next week. i will report the temps before and after the change and upload a few pictures of it.

Either would be fine and plenty for cooling. If you really like the look, then go for it.

In terms of value, neither are that great when compared to the Freezer 34 eSports Duo or Ninja 5.

The Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo has the following information on their web-site;

* The length of the backplate screw nuts is different on some AMD AM4 motherboards. You can get a free compatible backplate on request from us. Please send us a message with the subject 'Freezer 34 - AM4 Backplate', the shipping address and proof of invoice to support@arctic.ac.

This happens to be a problem with the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Motherboard.   I tried to get a new backplate sent and after 7 days of no response I sent the CPU cooler back for a refund.

I didn't know anything abou the Scythe Ninja 5 but I found this link comparing it to the Dark Rock Pro 4:  https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/scythe-ninja-5-cpu-cooler,5939-2.html

I wanted an all black/red look to my cooler and I am still going back to the arctic.  If I can get them to send me a backplate, then I could buy the Duo model in red.

Tests on 2011-v3 are going to show different results and be less representative than AM4 which is what you're using. Although that makes direct comparisons more difficult, you can still compare to similar coolers.

The DRP4 is still a better performer but the DR4 is closer and both are more expensive than the Ninja 5. The 2600 is fairly easy to cool so they're all great options that are also very quiet.

they are not even as loud as the stock cooler from amd with 50% load

Most decent aftermarket solutions are going to be quieter than the stock cooler.
