Folding@home using only my CPU not my 2 GPUs

I have a similar problem, but also under the system info tab it says that neither the 'nvcuda.dll' module nor the 'openCL.dll' module were found.

I'm running an i5-6600K and a Radean R9 390. (so the missing CUDA is no surprise, but the other one should show up). Might this also be problem or does that not matter?

If you run GPU-Z does it show that OpenCL is checkmarked down the bottom or is the box empty?
If OpenCL is not checked it could be a driver issue, try DDU'ing your drivers and reinstalling the latest AMD drivers.

Yes, under Computing OpenCL is checked. So I guess, there just aren't any WUs out?

Did you delete any of the slots?

That error message would usually be if it can't find the GPU. I had the same message yesterday after I pulled a graphics card out of the system while it was still added as a slot in the client.

Exit the client.
Go to

...\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\config.xml

and under "<!-- Folding Slots -->"  delete the lines that say

<slot type="GPU" id="1"/>
<slot type="GPU" id="2"/>

Save the file and try opening the client again.

Still not working

It's still giving you this error after reinstalling F@H and removing the slots in the config.xml file...?

Interesting. Not sure what would be causing that then. @Metallus97 any ideas on this one?

Such a shame, I just uninstalled the client and even deleted my data. But at least it worked again

So... I think my GPU just tried to start a job but failed. In the log it says

Quote

17:40:34:WU01:FS01:Starting
17:40:34:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Failed to start core: OpenCL device matching slot 1 not found, try setting 'opencl-index' manually

How can I do that?

EDIT: I'll make a separate post since this is now slightly off topic :)

2nd EDIT: I DDU'd my driver and installed the current version of Adrenaline. Then after polling from the servers again, it worked even though the system info still is missing the openCL.dll file.
