Build ideas?

Does anyone have a good build that can run all the fallout games at max settings? Mods included. Budget is under $1,000. I do not have a monitor/ keyboard. But I won't count it towards the overall cost. Thanks a million.

That should play just about anything on near max settings at 1440p and be within budget

Yes, it's AMD's new 'mid range' GPU. A RX 5700 is also a viable option that is a bit less money

Like your build but don't you think a Corsair VS500 would be enough? It's about $40 cheaper than what you listed.

Is it still alright to get the Ryzen cpu along with the Msi 540 motherboard? It's giving me a warning saying it could have a potential issue.

the msi MAX boards come with the correct bios version, so don't worry about the warning.

I think the reason is it may not have the newest BIOS version and may need to be updated to work with the R5 3600. 

 

edit: More than likely it does have the updated BIOS version unless it's been sitting on the shelf for the past 9 months....

You can turn a 5700 into a 5700xt by flashing a new bios... kinda dumb

Personally, I wouldn't try it...way too much risk of bricking it

It’s actually not that risky at all. Your just flashing bios so the card thinks it’s a 5700xt, that’s the only difference between the two cards is bios amd locking down clock speeds.
